It is starting! The Pacific Southwest District Assembly in Mesa, Arizona officially kicks off with the opening celebration tonight at 7 p.m., but Unitarian Universalists from Arizona, southern California, and southern Nevada are already descending upon the site.
Excitement is in the air as people greet old friends and see new faces.
Hello! I'm Tera Little, the Director of Lifespan Programs for the Pacific Southwest District of the Unitarian Universalist Association. I've been doing this ministry since 1999 - ten years! I'm a ministerial candidate and a student at Meadville Lombard Theological School in the Modified Residency Program (that means I go to MLTS in Chicago every January and take intensive courses), and my target date for graduation is 2010.
My passions in Unitarian Universalism are youth and young adults ministries and justice work.
I live my life as fully as possible with my son, Adrian, and my partner, Ryan, and am a joyful Veganista.
